Ramu Sridhar Perali.

Prof. Ramu Sridhar Perali received his Ph. D. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India under the guidance of Prof. S. Chandrasekharan and went to Purdue University for a postdoctoral fellowship with Prof. Arun K. Ghosh. Later he did another stint of postdoctoral fellowship at Ohio Univerisity with Prof. Peng George Wang in the area of carbohydrates. Prof. Ramu Sridhar started his independent academic career with University of Hyderabad as assistant professor and is currently serving as a full professor at University of Hyderabad. Prof. Ramu Sridhar is leading a research group working in the areas of, Glycosynthesis, Glycochemistry, peptide synthesis & total synthesis of Natural products. Prof. Rama Sridhar is conferred with young Associate of Indian Academy of Science (IASc) 2011, Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Medal for young scientists 2012, Associate Fellow of Telangana Academy of Sciences (TAS) & recently, Bronze medal for contributions to the research in chemistry by the Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) for the year 2022
